Timeleft is a socializing app that organizes dinners for you and 5 strangers.

But no one’s heard about us. So we used the most antisocial people to get the word out—introverts.

How We Did It

Since introverts never want to leave home, we threw the ultimate introverted house party.

Because if introverts can have a good time, imagine how much fun extroverts will have.

The Party Plans

Location: The most introverted city in America – Portland, Oregon

Meet The Introverts

We created a cast of illustrated introverts—side-eyeing, slightly spiraling, happily in hermit mode—and dropped them into towering, realistic cityscapes. The contrast captures that “little fish in a big pond” energy.

Whimsical and playful with a hint of anxious charm, the work visualizes what it feels like to step outside your comfort zone and into the city—one small (but brave) step at a time.

To promote the event, we showed up in places introverts go to hide.

Like when they’re in hermit mode ordering Postmates on a Friday night...

Or when they’re recharging at the park…

Zoning out on IG or in their zone at a coffee shop…

And making an Irish exit from a night out…

Introvert Verification

The QR codes took them to an event page where they needed to prove that they were an introvert before gaining access to the event details.

Access Granted

Once they passed the quiz, they were able to enter their email for a chance to be one of 6 people invited to the event.

You’ve Got Mail

We sent emails to the 6 people selected and told them to be ready by 5pm.

After the introverts had the time of their lives, we used the content to create a nationwide campaign that got extroverts to use our app.
